James Barker is a New York based photographer, art director, and designer specializing in food photography, styling, prop building, lifestyle and product imagery, social media, and e‑commerce. With an MFA from Alfred University and deep roots in the fine‑arts tradition, he brings a refined eye for color, form, texture, and composition to every shoot, crafting images that elevate brands and tell product stories with clarity and nuance. James favors a collaborative, calm approach on set and relishes the meticulous process of shaping each frame—balancing lighting, composition, and styling to produce enticing, purposeful visuals.
